Suzanne Pleshette

 


Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died January 19, 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactress, television, and film director. Pleshette began her career in theatre, and appeared in films towards the end of the 1950s. She later appeared in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Pleshette also appeared in a variety of television productions, often as guest performers. She was nominated for numerous Emmy Awards for her performance as Emily Hartley, on The Bob Newhart from 1972 to 1978.
